description The present study aimed to correlation of nitric oxide system and cytokine levels in rat's liver cells under prolonged hypochlorhydria. Nitrite ions accumulation attached to increase nitric oxide synthase activity in the liver cells under reducing gastric acid secretion. Currently proved nitric oxide key role in the regulation of immune responses, so, prolonged hypochlorhydria accompanied by the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor α, interleukin-6).
