description | Based on the contributions of Prof. Dr. Ricardo Costa de Oliveira (2004, 2007, 2012, 2015a, 2015b, 2016, 2017) will seek to analyze from a sociological-bio-graphical focus (Bourdieu 1989, 1996, 2018), as well as the methodology of life stories by Bertaux (1979) the trajectory of José Richa (PR) with the objective of reaching his direct descendant in Paraná politics – Beto Richa. It is about trying to understand to what extent the political strategies of José Richa’s descendant found a link or departure from the symbolic capital built from the 1980s onwards and, on the other hand, to what extent a “renewal” is constituted as an adaptive strategy of this heir facing the unfavorable political contexts and the rules of the institutional game. Thus, when tracing an overview of nepotism and its perpe-tuation in different spheres of power, we can see how kinship relations hips are essential in the current political model and can elucidate many of the relations hips that characterize it. |
