description Taking into account the fact that most of the Adygeans live in the countries of the Middle East, we elect to consider the rural prose of the Adygeyan writers who lived in the former USSR. This allows us to see the typological convergence of the literature of the Adygs and other peoples living on the territory of the Soviet Union, placing emphasis on the ways in which their interethnic relations arise. Maintaining the deep folk traditions, imprinted on the pages of Adyghe village prose works, is seen by us as a source of enhancing the stability of modern society.
