description This research aimed to analyze the relationship between students history mastery and historical conciousness. This study was an ex-postfacto research with correlational research design. The population of research was all students of History Education Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Metro Muhammadiyah University. The sample was taken using disproportionate stratified random sampling. The instruments used to collect the data were test and questionnare. Techniques of analyzing data used were correlation analysis, simple regressions at significance level of 5%. The result of research showed that the hypotheses there are was a positive significant relationship between students history mastery and historical consciousness.
