Description
Summary:A discussion is carried out on the basis of a model that simulates TransMilenio’s stations overcrowding, about the consequences of the paradigm of choice (Cellular Automata) and the cultural aspects of the users. This is done taking into account the implications involved: the fact of analyzing complexities in real life open-up new perspectives, revealing that established schemes must be questioned in order to react and handle them. Any engineer committed to the society that educated him must be aware that modern challenges imply new skills, particularly, the ability to combine the old and the new, regarding systems enginnering paradigms.
