description <p>The regional features of the impact of migration processes on demographic dynamics and fertility in the Russian Federation are considered in the article. There were identified four groups of regions on dynamics of total fertility rate change depending on volume and intensity of migration. It is proposed to add the population forecasts carried out by Rosstat with calculations of the number of arrivals and departures of migrants necessary for a more accurate account of the impact of migration on demographic processes.</p>
