Summary:Objective: Correlate the algorithm of post-PCR care of the American Heart Association (AHA) the classification system proposed by the Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) and its consequent nursing activities, both published in 2010. Methods: Study of narrative literature review, which used as a source of data collection references above. The data collected in July 2012. Results: We analyzed the algorithm of post-PCR care of AHA 2010 and were suggested ratings and nursing activities for each step of the algorithm of care. Conclusion: It concluded that from the interpretation of post-PCR care algorithm it is possible to suggest nursing interventions, based on NIC, to optimize the nursing care provided to customer with return to spontaneous circulation.
