Summary:Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors are currently one of the most frequently used groups of cardiovascular medications. In addition to wellknown indications, such as arterial hypertension (AH), chronic heart failure (CHF), and Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM-2), some ACE inhibitors could be used in other clinical situations. The medications with additional vascular activity (for example, perindopril A) have certain benefits, compared to other ACE inhibitors.
