description | A unified assembly condition formula is derived for planet gears,taking the NW planetary gear train as an example. Firstly,the minimum non-zero misalignment angle between the two teeth of compound planetary gears is determined. Secondly,according to the kinematics equation of the planetary gear mechanism,the rotation angle (the angle of the planet gear rotates about its own shaft) of the two independent planet gears are calculated separately,and the difference between the two rotation angle is used as the assembly misalignment angle. The planet gear(s) can be correctly assembled only if the assembly misalignment angle is an integer multiple of the minimum non-zero misalignment angle between the two teeth,so that a unified assembly condition formula is obtained for planet gear(s) with even or uneven distribution of all types of planetary gear mechanism. Finally,the assembly method of uneven distributed planet gears is introduced through two examples. The expression proposed expands and improves the theory of planet gear assembly,more wider ranges of gear teeth for the planetary gear train are available to select,and has certain theoretical guidance and engineering practical significance for the assembly and application of uneven distribution planet gear mechanism. |
