| description | This study aims to analyze the management of the sea transportation business through the operational management of sea transportation, transportation demand and supply in Indonesia. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study showed that the operational management that was done has been carried out properly starting from operational planning, operational scheduling, to operational control. All these activities are carried out in accordance with the operational standards in the company. There are several factors that can affect the demand for sea transportation. These factors are: Economic Factors, Political Factors, and Technological Factors. To meet the very high demand for sea transportation services, a large fleet of ships is needed. The fleet of ships currently operating in Indonesia, was seen by their ownership, consists of national and foreign fleets. |
