| description | Aim: The rapid acceleration of computer-based technologies is not only aimed at overshadowing the personal lives of people, but also people in line with new technologies, understand well its place and importance in various organizations, and want to use it to improve various functions. Libraries and librarians are expected to use the latest technologies as leaders in written records classification and presentation in science and technology. Considering the growing capabilities of technologies based on artificial intelligence, the main purpose of this study was to study the usability of Iranian products/software based on artificial intelligence in libraries and library software.Methodology: This research is applied in terms of purpose and analytical and descriptive survey in terms of quantitative method. The study population was all officially registered companies in Iran. By referring to the site and a large number of these companies, in the first stage, they were limited to companies that were registered in the field of computers, and so 780 companies were identified. In the second step, 92 companies that are active in the fields of software, especially artificial intelligence, and deep learning, were selected, and only companies that were active in the field of services and software of artificial intelligence and have a web were selected for review. The sites were active and according to these criteria, the research sample includes 21 companies active in the field of artificial intelligence software products. The data collection tool was a researcher-made checklist that included company demographic information and research questions, and its reliability was confirmed with Cronbach's alpha of 0.84.Findings: The research findings showed that most fields of activity of the mentioned companies were text, image, and audio processing, and the products of these companies can be used in library software.Asr Goyesh Pardaz and Sarzamin Hooshmand companies are among the oldest companies in this field that have been operating since 2005. Amer Andish Hooshmand Company with 30 employees has the largest number of specialized staff.Conclusion: The utilization of artificial intelligence in the field of library software in Iran is a nascent and growing science and companies related to this field to design and produce native software compatible with the official language of the country are on the path of progressive development. it can be said that libraries and librarians are also interested in using new technologies in libraries, although they need the training to use them. |
