Summary: | The Saint-Nicaise Church of Rheims was designed by the architect Jean-Marcel Auburtin in 1925 and decorated by several artists, including Maurice Denis. The chruch is managed today under the terms of an emphyteutic lease between the owner, a local council housing organisation, and the ssociation of the diocese. This provision allows for the interpretation and conservation in situ of all the movable objects, specifically designed for the church and protected, for the most part, as historic monuments. |
