Description

Exploring the role played by these digital tools in the 9/11 narrative staged in the museum, this article considers, on the one hand, how they tell a first-person narrative through the figure of the witness, and, on the other hand, how they target an emotional reaction and awake empathy in the visitor who lives an immersive and interactive experience that blurs the lines between the informative and commemorative functions of this institution.
