Description
Summary:For some time, studies have shown the contribution of entrepreneurship to regional development. Based on this assumption, educational institutions and governments promote initiatives to the development of personal entrepreneurial characteristics. This article proposes a model to measure entrepreneurial characteristics and their association with organizational performance. A measurement instrument was developed and validated; and a structural model was proposed for this purpose. The results suggest that the entrepreneurship profile is a multidimensional construct composed of six characteristics and only one of them is associated with organizational performance.
