He also had a brief, but eventful legal practice. He holds a Doctorate in securities regulations from University of Mumbai. e-mail: chairperson@ibbi.gov.in is an officer of the Indian Economic Service of 1999 batch, presently posted as Executive Director in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India. During her tenure in Service, she has served in various capacities in Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
