7-Amino-4-hydroxy-4-trifluoromethyl-3,4-dihydroquinolin-2(1H)-one

The title compound, C10H9F3N2O2, was prepared by the reaction of m-phenylenediamine and ethyl 4,4,4-trifluoroacetoacetate. In the crystal, intermolecular C&#8212;H... F, N&#8212;H...F, O&#8212;H...N and N&#8212;H...O interactions contribute to the crystal packing.
