Summary: | Introduction: Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is the most common well-differentiated cancer of the thyroid. Only in few cases of PTC entity of renal cell carcinoma has been observed in patients affected with PTC.
Case Report: In this study we report a case of sporadic PTC and renal cell carcinoma in a 63 year-old woman.
Conclusion: After surgery the patient was hospitalized for 1 month in ICU section. 3 months after being discharged from the hospital, she was still in a good condition and is under the follow-up treatment. |
