| Summary: | The article analyzed the introduction of distance learning initiative for local government
officials, civil servants and local councilors on «Reforming local government and
decentralization of power» in Dnipropetrovs’k region. In the paper the goal and objectives
of the pilot distance learning course, all major units are considered. Topic of debate
on reforming local government and decentralization of power at the regional level are defined
and characterized. The article offered a list of important public and social standards
in the context of the reform of the administrative-territorial structure at the basic level
under decentralization in Ukraine. |
