| Summary: | As you probably know, Hoarding disorder is typified by persistent difficulties discarding possessions, regardless of their value, resulting in significant clutter that obstructs the individual's living environment and produces considerable functional impairment. Therefore, recognition of this disorder causes can play a valuable role to introduce it. The control needs to know the heritability of this disorder and its explanatory model by twin studies and quantitative genetic occurs. This study was a systematic review. Therefore, some keywords including hoarding disorder, behavioral genetics, shared and non-shared environmental factors, shared and non-shared genetic factors and etiology were searched in the NCBI, science direct, springer database and collection of related articles extracted until November 2015. The findings demonstrated a substantial genetic, and more modest environmental with a different range according to gender and age in etiology of hoarding disorder. Consequently, The results were explained on the basis of the theoretical foundations and clinical data was discussed. |
