description Modelling ubiquitous collaborative systems that support people-driven processes represents a major challenge for software designers, since there is no a workflow that helps identify the scenarios in which the interaction among the participants could take place. Typically, this reduces the effectiveness of the resulting systems and increases the uncertainty during their developments. This paper proposes a visual modeling notation that allows designers to identify these potential interactions scenarios, and characterize them properly. The usability and expressiveness of this proposal was evaluated and compared to the most representative modeling notation reported in the literature to address this design challenge. The obtained results were highly positive, opening thus several opportunities to improve the design of ubiquitous collaborative systems.
