The research is applied in (3) colleges of political science with a good reputation and superior science among Iraqi universities (College of Political Science / University of Baghdad - College of Political Science / Al-Mustansiriya University - College of Political Science / Al-Nahrain University) The sample consisted of (95) (professors), and the research found a significant effect of the characteristics of strategic decisions in making public policy, and on this basis, the research reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the interest of experts and specialists in the field of strategic decision-making.
