Summary: | Aircraft icing is the process of changing the state of concentration of water contained in the air in the form of steam into a solid form accumulating on the surface of aircraft construction elements during a flight or results from the direct accumulating of ice crystals on the aircraft surface. The process of aircraft icing is complex and depends on many variable factors related to atmospheric conditions and aircraft flight parameters. The goal of work is to develop a deterministic model for identifying the beginning of the icing process depending on the aircraft flight parameters on the basis of CFD simulations. |
