description Psoriasis is a common skin disease in which the development of the decisive role played by genetic and environmental factors. Many of the candidate genes linked with psoriasis, are directly related to acquired or congenital defects of the immune system, epithelial barrier permeability of the intestinal wall, and the keratinocyte membrain. Formation of an immune response to Th-1 type high expression and activity of antimicrobial peptides like state at their potential infection. This review discusses the possible immune mechanisms are involved in the relationship between infection and disease process in psoriatic skin. We survey the literature and discuss the suitability of infection factors in treatment modality for psoriasis.
