outstanding contribution towards various Islamic sciences. In his
tafsir, he has accumulated a big treasure of explanatory traditions
which he extracted from many books. He however, did not
authenticate the mentioned reports and did not cross examine their
narrators. As a result many weak, fabricated and unauthentic
traditions chipped into this tafseer which caused doubts about the
validity and status of his commentary. In this article some
fabricated reports have been discussed. " |
