Summary:Taking occurrence frequencies of coal mine safety accidents in 2001—2011 as example, the first and second principal component of the coal mine safety accidents cause were obtained by use of principal component analysis method, and it was found out that the coal mine safety accidents mainly caused by roof fall accident and machinery accident through further analysis. The analysis result shows that the method has certain guidance for planning of coal mine safety facilities.
