Description
Summary:Karl Polanyi (1886-1964) has not enough developed the concept of institution, but such a concept exists in his work. Analysing “economy as an instituted process”, as Polanyi does it, allows to understand that the market is not a spontaneous phenomenon. This runs counter to conventional wisdom. This conception of market society is a foundation of feasible socialism.
