Description
Summary:Aim and scope: The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of cultural intelligence and perceived environmental support in sharing engineering students of Malayer University. As well as the relationships between cultural intelligence, perceived environmental support and knowledge sharing with the demographic variables and a score of academic achievement (grade point average) is studied. Methodology: The study method is a descriptive - correlation method and the research design is a structural equation type. The statistical population of the study consisted of all engineering students of Malayer University with 810 students. The sample size was determined using Morgan table. A total of 262 students were selected randomly. The data gathering tool includes the standard questionnaire of cultural intelligence (Ang et al., 2004), Knowledge sharing questionnaire (adapted from Malas and Ainin, 2015) and the university supporting climate. Findings: The results of structural equation analysis using Lisrel structural equation software show that the direct effect of cultural intelligence on knowledge sharing (0.50) with 3.31 t statistic is positive and significant at the significant level of 0.001. The direct effect of cultural intelligence on the supportive environment (0.70) with the T 41.5 statistic is positive and significant at the significant level of 001.0. The direct effect of supportive atmosphere on knowledge sharing (0.62) with and without statistical significance was 0.001. The indirect effect of cultural intelligence on knowledge sharing with the role of supportive mediator (0.43) with T-score of 56.2 is positive and significant at the significant level.
