Description
Summary:The relevance of the discussed issue is caused by the need to increase economic efficiency and regime security function in electric networks by improving the quality of electrical energy. One of the ways to solve this issue is the development of existing and new methods and tools for monitoring the quality of electric energy, which improves the efficiency of energy use. The main aim of the study is to develop the methods to increase the effectiveness of monitoring the quality of electric energy in power systems by increasing the speed and accuracy of its implementation, as well as improvements in the analysis of the information received. The methods used in the study: systems analysis, methods of mathematical analysis, wavelet transform, Fourier transform, Hilbert transform, Wigner distribution, Walsh transform to analyze the voltage curves using the software package MatLab, Simulink, computer simulation, holding threshold filtering voltage curves in cases where the noise voltage curves and redundant information signals. The results. The authors have developed the method for monitoring the quality of electric energy by controlling the wavelet coefficients of voltage curve expansion. This method is based on the fact that any disturbance system, including violation of quality of electrical power, leads to changes in detailing wavelet expansion coefficients of the voltage curve at different decomposition levels. Using this method allows you to monitor simultaneously several indicators of quality of electric energy in real time, as well as to conduct timely the measures to ensure the quality of electric power - in contrast to the existing monitoring systems that perform analysis of quality of electric energy by processing and analyzing previously recorded information.
