Summary:Games in the organizations can be approached from various angles, depending on the theoretical perspective. Social influence (or manipulation in a more narrow sense) was a subject to many attempts of classification or typology as well. The article arranges the essential concepts of games and social influence in the organizations while showing potential interdependencies. As a starting point various definitions – classic and modern as well – were adopted. Next, the ramifications were named and based on that the attempt to indicate the possible research directions was undertaken. The possibilities of practical use in consulting were also pointed out.
