Summary:Polyolefin elastomer (POE) was used to modify styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (SBS) modified asphalt, and POE/SBS modified asphalt mixture was prepared. The effect of POE content on the aging resistance of SBS modified asphalt was investigated. The results showed that POE/SBS composite improved the high-temperature aging resistance of asphalt mixture, and had a certain effect on the low-temperature performance. POE improved the rutting resistance and aging resistance of SBS modified asphalt mixture, but reduced its low temperature toughness to a certain extent. When SBS and POE with mass fraction of 4% and 3% were added to asphalt, the comprehensive performance of POE/SBS modified asphalt mixture was good.
