Description
Summary:Forms of reality, forms of knowledge. Towards aesthetics of researcher training. The paper starts from a reflection on the two forms of human knowledge – analytic and symbolic – and then probes their joint use in the training of researchers of any discipline or academic field. Scientific knowledge is thus seen as irreducibly based on discipline crossing, towards the proposal of an aesthetics of researcher training, where «aesthetics» corresponds to «systemic sensitivity», indicated by Bateson as that «ecological» knowledge which can grasp conjunctions-crossings-links between knowledge, languages and methods from different domains, towards the construction of an «interdisciplinary science that deals with analogies». The goal is that «New Science» – which Morin takes from Vico – characterized by abduction, serendipity, the valorisation of elements historically considered as lateral in research, where «the ways of post-Darwin thinking» translate into aesthetic educational designs: binocular, complex and systemic in nature. In this sense, the capability of «double description» – the zig zag epistemology indicated by Bateson – outlines the isomorphism between the skills of the researcher – of any discipline – and aesthetic posture.
