Description
Summary:The concern of the researchers of the human genome has been clarify how, when and why the expression of genes is regulated. Classical Genetics says that genetic information is expressed in a linear fashion: deoxyribonucleic> ribonucleic acid > protein; however, the primacy of deoxyribonucleic acid has given way to the primacy of the environment, which provides the following flow of genetic information: environment> regulatory protein> deoxyribonucleic acid> ribonucleic acid> protein. One of the factors on the expression of inheritance is mediated by the environment proves Epigenetics, with an inheritance patterns of gene expression that are stable and occur without a change in the sequence of deoxyribonucleic acid. Understanding of these factors could revolutionize the approach of evolutionary Biology and the development and its application to medical science will determine definitely a new approach to the concepts of health and disease and will lay the way for new therapeutics.
