Description
Summary:In this paper, the authors used finite element method to investigate the longitudinal and transverse shear lag effects and the effect of aspect ratio on the shear lag of double-chamber cantilever concrete box girder under uniform distributed load. The results show that the root section is positive shear lag, and the mid-span section is negative shear lag. In the longitudinal direction, positive and negative shear lag changes appear in box girder. The effect of shear lag at fixed end is significantly affected by aspect ratio, and the effect degree is different in different parts. The positive and negative values of shear lag must be determined by the stress curve.
