Summary: | The Canadian learner of French as a second language has one or more language systems. The interference of knowledge of these prior systems, especially English for our study, poses a problem for learning French as a second language. This work aims to identify the types of interference that English has on French among employees of the Canada’s public service learning FSL and to expose the sources of these errors. We will not propose solutions for these interferences, but we suggest measures that can prevent them and reduce frequent interferences. |
