Summary:The article is dedicated to one of the essential issues of the Russian logistics development - the rational territorial organization of logistics centers. The work objective is to elaborate approaches to grounding the location of logistics centers to ensure efficient international and interregional goods circulation. The multi-criterion evaluation of regions for the rational location of logistics centers shows that the integral rating of Tatarstan Republic is significantly higher than the ratings of two other investigated Volga regions. The authors come to the conclusion that the Republic of Tatarstan has serious competitive advantages for constructing a logistic center on its territory.
