Summary:This study aimed to examine mothers' childhood trauma situations and their relations with their children. A relational screening model was used in this research. The study group of the research consisted of 250 mothers. Personal Information Form, Childhood Trauma Questionnaire and Child‒Parent Relationship Scale were used as data collection tools. The data obtained were analyzed with Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a significant negative relationship between the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse subdimensions and emotional neglect, physical neglect subdimensions and Child Parent Relationship Scale-positive relationship subdimensions. It was found that there were positive and significant relationships between the the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse subdimensions and emotional neglect, physical neglect subdimensions and Child‒Parent Relationship Scale conflict subdimensions. There was a positive and significant relationship between Childhood Trauma Questionnaire physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse subdimensions and emotional neglect, physical neglect subdimensions and Child‒Parent Relationship Scale attachment subdimensions.
