| description | In this paper we attempt a synthesis of some aspects in the history of education in Mexico. This task is part of a very basic introduction, after which we point out the case of some important political-educational actors -such as the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE). Finally, we synthesize problems and issues that may explain some of the paradoxes of a country where the issue of education is over-diagnosed, but at the same time is unable to solve the main shortcomings: coverage, quality, resources and infrastructure; as well as an excessive politicization of an unequal system that certainly presents achievements as can be observed when reviewing history. At the same time, it continues to endure several of its lags, which make it difficult to update all the capacities of students and teachers in some educational levels and regions of the country. |
