| description | The present article aims to bring some contributions to the debate on degrowth, postdevelopment and solidarity economy from a post-colonial and Other Economy perspective. In this sense, it is expected i) to propose a discussion of the possible contributions from the categories and concepts developed in the scope of degrowth and post-development; ii) to evidence experiences of counter-hegemonic praxis in the Global South, especially in Brazil and India; iii) finally, to place these new experiences within the approach of the Other Economy. In the end, we seek to contribute to the debate about the counter-hegemonic experiences of the Global South as ways of establishing a new paradigm for development. |
