| description | Data on Rock Partridge, Alectoris graeca, spring counts, in the territory of the Natural Park Val Troncea for the years 2004 to 2007, are presented. For each year of the census are given: total number of contacted individuals, the area surveyed, the density of males/100 ha, the number of operators involved. All spring census data (n = 79) were geo-referenced and analyzed with a geographic information system (Grass 6.2, QuantumGIS 8.0), a digital elevation model (DEM) of the study finally allowed us to assign to each animal contacted the value of the altitude, exposure and slope on the side on which it was identified. |
