Description
Summary:An attempt to specify the idea of Boris Vasiliev's story of «The Dawns Here Are Quiet» (1969) which has settled in practice of school teaching literature as the text singing of a feat of the Soviet people in the period of the Great Patriotic War is made. The analysis of development of a subject ‘transformation into the soldier’ in this story shows that Boris Vasiliev tragic senselessness of women's participation in war. The woman involuntarily sacrificed to a victory as her death most effectively pushes the man to making of a feat which is improbable in other circumstances. According to the author, the woman because of her nature can't seize the fighter's profession. All heroines of the story are oriented on the family roles by their prewar lives, their hit in army was result of external circumstances of their life or the choice in the heat of passion from death of the families. They continue to live in army by rules of peace time, in every way delaying the transformation into «fighters», such behavior serves as the important reason of their death.
