Summary:When this article was published in 1912, Tiflis was the capital city of Caucasus, ruled by the Russian viceroy. The city was also the centre of Caucasian Muslims. The published materials, i.e. newspapers, magazines and Arabic-Turkish edition of the Qoran, point out the brightness of Islamic culture in the city. Tiflis at the same time, was the centre of mission works of Christians among Muslims, from Caucasus to Turkistan. The Bible and Christian tracts have been distributed to all Muslims in Russia. Muslims have a tendency to teach moder n teaching, but they want to make this keeping their religious beliefs
