| description | The paper reflects on the internal discussions about socialist behavior in the trade union movement in the first half of the 1930s, with the intention of exploring its weaknesses and strengths and collaborating in a better understanding of the problems of the left and the workers’ organization. We will try to identify the different positions and the sectors in dispute. We will analyze the opinion of the party cadres and will focus with special attention the role of the Socialist Commission of Union Information (CSIG) and its members. We will do this mainly through internal sources of the Socialist Party, its newspaper La Vanguardia, and other relevant publications and documents of the CSIG itself, among others. |
