description Currently in the Norte de Santander region, there are large deposits of raw material for the manufacture of masonry products for construction and other industries, for this reason the initiative arises to study the ability of clay dust to conduct heat. Where later, the technological study was carried out at the laboratory level to determine the average value of heat conduction of the selected samples at different voltages and in this way check the thermal characteristics of the clays of the region with bibliographic references. The results demonstrated the good ability to conduct heat of the samples between 0.09533 and 0.15974 W / m ° C, being within the ranges determined in other investigations.
