Description
Summary:With this project, we pretend to present a critical thinking about the initiatives of the government of the State of Amazonas in the promotion of the investments in technological innovation in biobusiness, and map the main economic sectors which are being benefited from the application of the public resources for promoting innovation. Within this context, it was possible to evaluate the way in which the innovative effort in the companies takes place and to identify the main bottlenecks involved in the practice of innovation in these sectors. All these elements contributed to facilitate the understanding of the activities undertaken by these segments in relation to innovation, allowing to establish a basis for reflection from the study of the reality of the companies. The results of this study allow concluding that the preoccupation and the interest of the regional companies in running for public bids, like economic subsidy programs, may stimulate the appearing of new companies and even promote the technological expansion.    Keywords: innovation; public investments; technological; biobusiness.
