The purpose of this study was to compare job burnout, job stress and job satisfaction among midwives working in hospitals and midwives working in health centers. This research is a descriptive and comparative study. The statistical population of this study included all midwives working in hospitals and midwives working in health centers of Doroud, in year 2018, whose number was 120, For this purpose, a Straight random sampling method was used to select statistical sample from among midwives working in hospitals and midwives working in health centers. 60 people were selected. The research tools were Maslach Burnout Questionnaire (1985), Phillip-Rice Occupational Stress Questionnaire (1997) and Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (JDI). Inferential statistics including multivariate analysis and one way analysis were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a significant difference in linear composition of job burnout scores, occupational stress and job satisfaction among midwives working in hospitals and midwives working in health centers (P = 0.0001, F = Wilks Lambda). Also, the findings show that 21% of the variance of dependent variables is explained by the grouping a variable namely midwives working in hospitals and health centers. |
