Description
Summary:We present a genome assembly from an individual male Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale (hawthorn shieldbug; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hemiptera; Acanthosomatidae). The genome sequence is 866 megabases in span. The majority of the assembly (99.98%) is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules with the X and Y sex chromosomes assembled. The complete mitochondrial genome was also assembled and is 18.9 kilobases in length.
