great importance because they represent the issues and facts tersely. These also present the importance of
every major and minor issue in the society by highlighting them in a sophisticated and presentable
manner. This research critically analyses the news headlines taken from three Pakistani news channels.
The chief concern of this research is to discover the role of news headlines in highlighting the society, to
find out the figurative devices, and to evaluate how these channels report and transmit the same issue in a
different way according to the need of their respective interest. |
