Description
Summary:The contemporary labour market creates more and more challenges for employees. One of these challenges is the necessity to seek employment outside their country of origin. The increasing mobility of workers is somewhat forced by the current situation on the labour market. The border regions offer favourable conditions for job seekers ready to work abroad. The European Union, in order to facilitate these activities, has set up an institution whose aim is to support mobility among workers. This institution is called the European Employment Services. The aim of this paper is to outline the main areas of supporting people who choose to work abroad with particular emphasis on cross-border workers. The paper also attempts to assess, on the basis of EURES TBeskydy, whether the aid is properly managed.
