New species of the genus Platystethus Mannerheim, 1830 from the Western Caucasus (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Oxytelinae)

A description of Platystethus gildenkovi sp.n. from the Western Caucasus (Russia: Krasnodar Province, Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia; Abkhazia) closely related to Platystethus arenarius (Geoffroy, 1785) is presented.
