| Summary: | Although the Standards of design and construction technology have developed, we have faced dam failure in the last years. Floods due to dam failure, because of sudden failure, destructive power, high potential of degradation, high sediment volume, are catastrophic and causes human and financial losses. Identification and investigation of probable risks due to such accidents and choosing of strategy and suitable solutions causes better and more accurate management in this kind of problems. Because of extent of possible damage in the incident, presence of trained and organized military forces can play a very decisive role in managing the situation. In this regard, this study identifies the risks of dam failure via literature review and library studies. In addition, the study ranks and prioritizes dam failure factors by using the analysis method, and then by using the review tools, the response of the military forces in the face of risks has been investigated. |
